Curling Season Begins on October 5th

Curling Clinic, Ottawa Curling Club at 440 O’Connor Street

The OCC is hosting a curling clinic at two different times:

• Sunday October 5th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday October 7th from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

This clinic would appeal to novice and intermediate (experience -wise) curlers. Items to be covered include strategy, team dynamics, tolerance on shots, equipment critique, brushing review, delivery technique and releases.

The cost is $15.00. This clinic is highly recommended for brand new curlers and anyone else who may want a refresher course.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Dalal Abou-Eid, Manager of the Ottawa Curling Club as soon as possible at (613) 234-4119. They are only accepting 24 people for each session.

Intermediate Curling Clinic, Rainbow Rockers Curling League

The Rainbow Rockers Curling League will be hosting an intermediate curling clinic on Saturday November 15th at the Ottawa Curling Club.

Space is limited and there will be a nominal fee. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested, please contact Kevin Wilson at: membership@rainbowrockers.com.

Please be reminded that the curling season starts on Sunday October 5th with games at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. The game matchups and times have been posted on our website at: www.rainbowrockers.com.
