Meet and Greet
Our most talked about (non-curling) event of the season returns on Thursday, September 9. This annual event is a great opportunity to meet your fellow curlers, get a sneak peek at the schedule and most importantly finalize your registration. This year's event will be held at the Lookout from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be great specials, including $4 beer and bar rail and $6 martinis. Our Treasurer, Steve H. will be on hand until 7:00 PM to collect the balance of your registration deposit. This event is open to all, so be sure to invite your friends!

Start of the Season
The 2010-2011 season kicks off with an opening funspiel on October 3. Curling begins at 3:00 PM. The event is completely free (except your bar tab!!). Register at the Meet and Greet on September 9 and watch your e-mail for more details.

Regular curling starts on Sunday, October 17. Teams and the first round schedule will be posted on the Rainbow Rockers website before October 1, 2010. Changes to the Spares Rule have been made for the upcoming season. The new rules, as well as all Rainbow Rockers house rules, will be posted on the website and will be explained to skips in advance of the curling season.

I look forward to welcoming our new and returning members to another great season of Rainbow Rockers curling.
