Over The Rainbow 2012 Bonspiel
Once again this year, the Rainbow Rockers, Ottawa’s GLBT curling league will be hosting the Over the Rainbow Bonspiel (OTRB) from March 23 – 25, 2012 at the Ottawa Curling Club.
The OTRB will be a 36-team tournament with all teams guaranteed four games; three pool games and one event game. A full breakfast on Saturday morning, a Saturday evening banquet, a kitchen food voucher and Sunday morning coffee & muffins are all included with the entry fee of $400 (Cdn) per team.
Bonspiel games start on Friday March 23rd at 8:30 am. All teams will play one game on the opening day. Every effort will be made to accommodate out-of-town teams however; we cannot guarantee a late start. Once registration is closed and payment is received, your schedule will be posted on the RRCL website (www.rainbowrockers.com) early enough so that teams can make appropriate travel arrangements.
This year's host hotel is once again the Victoria Suites Best Western Hotel located at 377 O’Connor Street, just two blocks from the Club. The Victoria Suites is offering Bonspiel participants a great room rate of $115.00 per night for a quad occupancy. Bookings may be made by contacting the hotel reservations department at (800) 465-7275 or (613) 567-7275 and asking for the Rainbow Curling Bonspiel Group Rate.
Online Registration:
Registration opens as of January 14th at 12:00 noon (EST). We ask that you fully complete the online registration form at www.rainbowrockers.com and send a cheque payable to “Rainbow Rockers” to the following address:

Please remember to note your team name on your cheque or electronic funds transfer. Please, one payment per team.
Spots are limited, so register early!
Please note that no registration will be considered complete until your payment has been received by the deadline of February 14, 2012. Once your payment has been received we will send you an email informing you that your registration has been confirmed.
