Meet and Greet

Our most talked about (non-curling) event of the season returns on Thursday, September 9. This annual event is a great opportunity to meet your fellow curlers, get a sneak peek at the schedule and most importantly finalize your registration. This year's event will be held at the Lookout from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be great specials, including $4 beer and bar rail and $6 martinis. Our Treasurer, Steve H. will be on hand until 7:00 PM to collect the balance of your registration deposit. This event is open to all, so be sure to invite your friends!

The balance of the $210 registration fee ($160) is due on or before September 9, 2010 at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend the Meet and Greet (details below), mail your payment to:

New Openings for Full-time Memberships

A few positions for full-time members has opened up for the 2010-2011 season. If you are interested, please register as soon as possible by completing our on-line registration form at http://www.rainbowrockers.com/membership/renewal/2010. If you are not interested yourself, but know someone who is, let them know today and join the funnest curling league in Ottawa!

2010-2011 Season Information

On behalf of the 2010-11 executive committee, I would like to welcome all new and returning members to another great season of Rainbow Rockers curling. This year, we have 28 teams that will be competing in four divisions (A-B-C-D). There will be three rounds with each team will playing six games per round. All teams will have one bye per round. Team rosters, rules of play, season calendar, curling etiquette and other important information will be posted to www.rainbowrockers.com before the end of September. Please check the website frequently for league information.

Curling Clinics - REGISTER NOW

New to curling? Need to brush up on your skills? There are three upcoming opportunities for you to take part in curling clinics led by certified curling instructors. Please note you must register in advance for all clinics by contacting the appropriate representative.

Clinic: Ottawa Curling Club

Ottawa Curling Club - Monday, September 27 (7 PM - 10 PM in 45 minute sessions)
Club Pro, Earle Morris is providing a curling clinic on Monday September 27 and Rainbow Rockers members are eligible to participate. The cost is $20 and registration in advance (manager@ottawacurlingclub.com) is mandatory.
