OCC Kitchen will be open on Sunday, Nov. 8th

The Ottawa Curling Club will again keep its kitchen open for the league games on Sunday afternoon. Please take advantage of the wonderful kitchen services for a quick dinner or snack before or after you curl!

EUCHRE NIGHT- NOVEMBER 21

Hello Rainbow Rockers,

We'll be hosting our next Euchre night on Saturday, November 21. We curl on Saturday, so shortly after the final game wraps up(around 8pm) we will begin the Euchre Tournament.

The format will be 6 games, with cash prizes going to the top winners and to the player with the most lone hands. Other prizes may be given out as we see fit. We just love giving out prizes.

Schedule Rules 2009-2010

  1. The committee has assign the 24 teams in three divisions: A, B and C. The teams have been ranked randomly for the first round.
  2. All divisions are made up of 8 teams each.
  3. There will be 3 rounds in which teams will move up or down from their respective divisions based on the following:
    • After round 1 and 2, the top two teams from C division move up to B division with the two bottom teams in B division moving down to C division.

Holiday Curling and Banquet

Join the Rainbow Rockers on December 20 for what is fast becoming a holiday tradition! To help celebrate the season, "fun" curling has returned with new twists and added excitement. Sign up for either the 3:00 PM or 5:00 PM draw, enjoy six ends of curling, plus a draw to the button competition for great prizes. After all the fun on the ice, the chefs at the Ottawa Curling Club will be carving up turkey with all the trimmings. Tickets will be on sale after your draw on November 29 and December 6. Full-Time Members $10 / Spares $20 / Guests $25.

National Playdowns

This year's Canadian Gay National Curling Championships will be held as part of the annual Western Cup, April 1-3, 2010 (Easter) in Calgary, Alberta.
