Round 3 Schedule Posted

The schedule for the third and final round of the 2008/2009 season is now available.

La Quête du Roi Bonspiel Registration

Registration for the seventh edition of Montreal’s Bonspiel La Quête du Roi is now open.

Reminder: Strategy Clinic This Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Just a reminder that there will be a Strategy Clinic at the OCC this Saturday, February 7th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 and the entire session will be off-ice.

Reminder: Local Registration to the OTRB Opens at noon on Sunday!

The online registration to the OTRB has been taken offline and set to go live again as of noon, this Sunday for local registration.

We have 14-16 spots for local teams so be sure to register quickly if your team is interested.

Full payment will be due to Steve Horwood, and only Steve Horwood, no later than 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2009 for your registration to be considered complete.

OTRB is now full

The OTRB is now full with 32 teams!

We did that in under 2 hours of local registration, which MUST be a record.

Your support of our event is greatly appreciated!

If you missed getting your spot, please register anyway! We will place you on the waiting list in the order of your time stamp on the registration.

La Quête du roi in Montreal

We have been requested to advise our members that there are only 5 spots left in La Quête du roi Bonspiel hosted annually by Les Fous du roi in Montreal, this year April 10-13 (Easter Weekend)!

Spares for the OTRB 2009

We are looking to provide a spares list during the OTRB 2009. If you are interested in sparing, please let us know ASAP for inclusion on the list.

Please note that you must not already be registered to participate on a team.

Also, we have one spare already booked to come to Ottawa from Winnipeg. He is eager to participate and a reasonable curler. Please let us know if you need a player on your team ASAP so that we can inform him that we have a team for him.

Next Rockers Euchre Tournament is Feb. 28th

The next Rainbow Rockers Euchre tournament will be held on Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 PM. The tournament will be held at the Ottawa Curling club. All proceeds of the tournament go to support the teams going to the gay curling nationals in Montreal.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door.
