Full Schedule Now Available

The full game schedule for Round 1, from October 5th to November 29th, is now available on-line.

Leads Needed For StatCan Curling League

The Statistics Canada curling league is looking for leads to play at the Carleton Heights Curling Club on Friday evenings from 4:55 to 7:00 pm. The fee for the season is $230. If any Rockers are interested in joining, please contact the webmaster, who will pass along your name and contact information.

Bare Your Bones Bonspiel

The Rainbow Rockers are hosting the first Bare Your Bones Bonspiel October 31 - November 2. Registration is now open but currently sits at only 10 teams, and we need 6 more to reach our minimum... we all want a whole 16, don't we? Registration costs $320 per team and will remain open until Friday, October 10 at 6:00 pm. Visit www.rainbowrockers.com/bareyourbones today to register.

Montreal’s La Quête du Roi Bonspiel Registration Opens

Registration for the seventh edition of Montreal’s Bonspiel La Quête du Roi is now open.

Your favorite winter sport is

* Curling
* Hockey
* Skiing
* Snowboarding
* Skating on the Rideau Canal
* Flying south and drinking on the beach

No Curling This Weekend

Just a reminder that there is no curling during the Thanksgiving holiday. Curling resumes Sunday, October 19th. The fullschedule is available on-line.

Bare Your Bones Bonspiel - CANCELLED

Regrettably, the Bare Your Bones bonspiel has been cancelled due to low registration. All payments received will be returned to the skip of each team. We hope to consider hosting the event next year, any comments or suggestions would be appreciated and can be sent to bonspiel@rainbowrockers.com.

Reminder: Curling on Saturday (October 25th)

A reminder to league members that there is curling for several teams this Saturday. Teams Vollrath, Tremblay, Douglas, Hebert, Currie, and Crance play at 3:00 PM. Teams Gallant, Arbiter, Cornelius, Chow , Peloquin, and Robbins play at 5:00 PM.

Sign Up Now For Funspiel November 2nd

The Rainbow Rockers will be hosting a funspiel on Sunday November 2nd from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with games at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. Random teams will be formed from the participants, and everyone is guaranteed to play at least two games.

The cost is $15. Sign-up now by contacting the membership coordinator at membership@rainbowrockers.com.

Sunday's Winning 50/50 Number (Oct 26)

The winning ticket from the first 50-50 draw on Sunday, October 26th is 64430. The winner should bring their ticket to next Sunday's funspiel or to the regular game the following week.

Fall Fun Spiel - Please note changes

Registration for the Fall Fun Spiel will close on Friday, October 31 at 4pm. To register, please send an e-mail directly to Kevin Falkingham, Acting Bonspiel Chair at kfalking@hotmail.com. Registration is $15. Everyone will play 2 games, and all of the money collected will be used as prizes and/or coupons.

Game times (here's the changes!) will be: 12 noon & 3:00pm.

If you have already signed up for the spiel, but have not paid, you must pay before starting your first game. Please see Kevin Falkingham.
