Our most talked about (non-curling) event of the season returns on Thursday, September 9. This annual event is a great opportunity to meet your fellow curlers, get a sneak peek at the schedule and most importantly finalize your registration. This year's event will be held at the Lookout from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be great specials, including $4 beer and bar rail and $6 martinis. Our Treasurer, Steve H. will be on hand until 7:00 PM to collect the balance of your registration deposit. This event is open to all, so be sure to invite your friends!

Capital Pride Health and Fitness Day is a full day of sports and games at various locations in the city this Saturday, August 21, 2010. Come for some or all of the events between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., but don't miss our league-hosted Bocce game!

The Rideau Curling Club is looking for one team each for Monday night's Ladies, Thursday night's Mens, as well as several spots in Friday night's Mixed league.

SPACES STILL AVAILABLE FOR 15th ANNIVERSARY HOT SHOTS CAMPS

The HOT SHOTS Curling Camps have a few spots available for their 15th anniversary clinics August 27-29 in Oakville, Ontario and October 1-3 at the RA Curling Club in Ottawa.

A number of promotions have been developed to celebrate 15 years of staging camps in Canada and the United States.

In partnership with Goldline Curling, the HOT SHOTS Curling Camp is offering camp alumni a $50 discount plus a $50 Goldine gift certificate if they bring a friend to camp.

To help us maintain the curling spirit as we move into Summer (as well as to maintain our "throwing arms"), please join us for Bocce and BBQ on one of the longest days of the year!
