Whether you are getting started or looking to improve your skills, a curling clinic is a great place to begin. Most years the Ottawa Curling Club hosts a beginners clinic at the start of the season.

The next executive meeting will be held on 7:00 pm, August 19th at The Buzz Restaurant.

The Rainbow Rockers Curling Club has reached it's membership goals for the new season. For the 2008-2009 season, the league will be expanding to 24 teams. At this time, the league is full and is now only looking for full-time skip. If you have experience as a skip and are interesting in being a full time team skip for the season, please contact our membership coordinator.

This year, the Rainbow Rockers will be marching in the Pride Parade and we need your support. Join us on Sunday - we need sweepers to help sweep our two giant curling rocks along the parade route…not into sweeping, come give out candy to the crowd. Too shy to march, then stand along the parade route and cheer us on! Marchers should meet around noon at the staging area (Albert and Bronson). Well, another curling season has come and gone, and the Canadian Gay Curling Scene, or should we say 'Circuit', couldn't be healthier! We have maintained our 7 cities with leagues (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal) and Halifax also has some organized teams!

The League Executives across the country would like to thank each and every curler and gay curling enthusiast who participated in our leagues, bonspiels, clinics, and special events throughout the year. Without you, the gay curling community, we would not exist! THANK YOU!

The Rainbow Rockers are arranging a game of Bocce in the park on June 25th, starting at 7:00 pm.
